Maverick Magazine wanted to get personal with Mara, so we asked her these 20 questions:
- What do you do for a living? Actress
- If you have a business or could start one, what would it be? "Mara's Haven for Animals" which will be a big paradise for all orphaned animals. All the employees will have to take a test to prove how much they love animals!
- What's the sweetest gift you could get on your birthday? It depends on who it's from. I'm fairly sentimental - so, if it's from a boyfriend, I'd looooove to get the Cartier Love bracelet, it's so classic...or something that he actually put time and effort into. From my parents, I'd love to get one of the many gadgets I'm coveting at any particular moment. Lol
- Describe yourself in 5 words? Funny, bubbly, sassy, sarcastic & strong
- What's your favorite car? Aston Martin
- Best place to go on a 1st date? Beach
- What's your biggest turn-on? Confidence (but there's a fine line between confidence and cockiness)
- Favorite hot spot or party place to travel to? I love Hawaii. It's the one place I feel like I can truly let go and relax
- Are you an exhibitionist or voyeur? .....and why? Exhibitionist. I like being in the spotlight
- Describe your perfect man in 5 words? Smart, ambitious, hilarious, talented & confidant
- What's the best place to pick-up a girl? The Beach
- Craziest dare you've ever done? Going into a tattoo parlor and getting a tattoo (when I was fourteen) in my Catholic all girls school uniform. Long story. I had to make up a whole elaborate story...and I actually got away with it! ;)
- What's more important .....looks, money or brains? Brains. I've gone out with a *lot* of guys that just have their looks to offer...and it's really unattractive. And with real brains, usually ambition and success follow suit
- Where do you like to hang-out in your free time? Free time? What's that? Lol. I can be found at the gym; surfing; out & about with my adorable chihuahua, Monroe; out for drinks/dinners/going to movies with friends
- What is one of the most embarrassing moments you've ever had? I was surfing in Hawaii in a bikini. I ate it on a large wave ...and lost my bikini top! It was a long swim back to shore...
- Strangest thing you keep in your bedside drawer? My "life book". I have all my major "life-altering moments" in there. From my first kiss to my first acting gig...I record everything
- Describe how you would perform a striptease for a man? I'm fairly flamboyant. My friends joke that I was a drag queen in a past life. So, I'd probably set the mood with lighting and have a routine choreographed to "You Can Leave Your Hat On" with a whole special costume just for the occasion. ;)
- Which part of your body should a guy spend more time on? .....and why? The neck. I think it's entirely overlooked. It's so romantic when someone kisses, caresses & nibbles on the back of your neck
- How would you feel if your man asked you for a threesome with another girl? I probably wouldn't be too down. If I didn't care about the guy, it'd be one thing. But, if I'm in love with him? I'm far too jealous to see him all over another girl. I'm Italian. I'm passionate and I have a temper
- What puts you in a sensual mood? Massages...bubble baths and jacuzzis...when a guy smells amazing...when a guy is an amazing dancer...lounging by the beach
